Bro. Jesse

I just couldn't write a post about Mrs. Sue and not write about Bro. Jesse! He IS without a doubt the biggest little man I know! He is also one of my heroes of the faith. I have learned so much by his example and his life. He was my first pastor and he was the one who introduced Jesus to me. He has touched so many lives. There is a song called "Thank You For Giving To The Lord" and I know that there will be a lot of people in Heaven singing something just like that to Bro. Jesse. He has preached the Word and never apologized for it. He stood on It and by It. He lives what he preaches. He is facing cancer that will take his life fairly quickly. It is so hard for me to wrap my mind around this. My heart breaks. I ache to my very soul over this. This hero of mine married me and my husband. He led my dad to the Lord and probably the rest of my family as well. He is a great friend to my family. He has gone through so many trials in his life and the Lord just made him stronger. He is a rock in my life and I am so glad that the Lord allowed Bro. Jesse to be my pastor. I love you, too, Bro. Jesse!

  2. My heart goes out to Bro. Jesse. Even though I've known him for only a few years, he became close to my heart, he and Ms. Sue. I never forget our trip to San Antonio together and also when they came to our house in Wichita Falls to visit us. He's such a lovable man. He was the one who told our retired pastor in Victory that your Dad is a licensed and ordained preacher so Pastor Bill asked your Dad to preached in our church. Your dad never told anybody in Victory that he's a preacher until Bro. Jesse did. Since then, your dad had been asked to preached a few times in our church. We owe it to Bro. Jesse. We'll be praying for him. He's truly a man of God and I believe that God won't give him trials that he can't handle.
