What's In Your Purse?

These are some spiritual lessons we can learn from things in our purse.
1. Calendar--Psalm 118:24
"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."
2. Lipstick--Psalm 51:15
"O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise."
3. Hand Lotion--Ecclesiastes 9:10a
"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might:"
4. An Aspirin or Medicine Bottle--Proverbs 17:22a
"A merry heart doeth good like medicine."
5. Kleenex--Psalm 130:1
"Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord."
6. Band-aid--Proverbs 27:6
"Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful."
7. Pictures--Proverbs 25:11
"Word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver."
8. Sewing Kit--Matthew 19:24
"And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go though the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."
9. Mirror--James 1:23-24
"For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural
face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth
what manner of man he was."
10. An Appointment Card--Romans 10:9-10
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hat raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
11. Checkbook--Romans 14:2
"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."
